Gas
#21
Some trucks / vans have an inline filter. Often in or near the frame - as well as one nearer to the engine. Keep an eye out for the extra one....

Later models (high pressure electric fuel pump and throttle body FI systems) have a very fine mesh on the fuel pump and intake - that lives in the fuel tank........with the float for the fuel gauge - all in one cluster.

Once you get all the fuel out of the tank, it is relatively easy to drop the tank.....

If its been sitting for 5 years - think about a new pump and screen - the tank a real bear to deal with if it has 20 gallons fresh fuel in it.....

Drain as much of the gas out as you can. Get several cans of ChemTool from wallyworld and dump in tank. Add fresh gas and drive. Be prepared for it to die several time until the crap is burned out. Add more ChemTool for a couple of fill ups.
