No rape kit? No sperm DNA from Meek? If it really was a problem for Ellen she would have gone to the hospital, had the rape kit, slam dunk. I'm not buying her story.
That young couple who went missing and both dead in kalapana...the boyfriend/husband? while he was undiscovered and had been hanging for some time in a lava tube was also "identified" as leaving Kona airport on camera. That "evidence" was used to clear suspects in the case.
Supposedly exiting at Kona airport is proving to be very revealing...

while i understand the purpose of these types of records being made public, i can also see the potential downside as well.

I hope this does not turn into the same kind of free for all of baseless speculation by arm chair detectives that happened with the Kalapana situation, it did nothing positive and did do a lot of harm.
In this case there are friends and family living here who would be very aware of that sort of thing and I would imagine it would be very painful for Meek's young wife, mother and sister who are all currently on island and don't need to see this sort of publicly dredging up of a six year old legal case that was eventually dismissed.
