Gunshots in HPP
#21
It happened again this evening, its pretty close not off in the distance and discharging a firearm in a populated area is reckless endangerment statute 707-714.
If ya can't hit a pig in 16 shots, its time to quit drinking.

Explosions in Orchidland last night. These weren't firecrackers. Sounded like somebody didn't think illegal M-80's were "fun" enough and made pipe bombs. Rattled our windows and we had to bring our dog inside or else he was going to jump through the window.

It is illegal to hunt at night, even if it’s private property. If you hear multiple gunshots, it is probably someone screwing around and firing off their guns recklessly. There are so many hunters who trespass, poach, shoot at night and leave dead carcasses on our roads. This makes all of us hunters look bad! Recently, pig carcasses were left on both ends of my street to rot. My neighbors know I’m a hunter and probably suspect it was me! The majority of hunters are not like this. I’m not like this! Most of us respect our neighbors, obey all laws and hunting regulations and are embarrassed by the few who give us a bad reputation.

It's legal to shoot on ag land

Perhaps "ag zoning" is inappropriate for the actual land-use?

I don't get it....the pigs come out at night and trash the property and folks come out of their houses and shoot them, or so I thought. How does it go?

It's a legitimate question. Is a .22 sufficient or is something larger necessary to make the killing more humane?

A 22 does it for me, my 50cal deserteagle would be overkill.
