Whales off Kaloli right now!

Pretty far out, heading south

Saw several at Kua Bay and again at A-Bay this afternoon. (Is this island great OR WHAT?)

Saw them in Vacationland yesterday, pretty far off shore .

Saw some in Volcano the other day. Arriving on a rainbow looking bedazzled and a little disoriented but otherwise well enough.

A couple pods off of Kaloli point right now.

Breaching too! Some of them look like baby whales

Sounds of lots of fin slapping and breaching right now just north of Kaloli Point, it sounds as though the whales are pretty close to shore. The sounds are moving to the east which likely means they're hugging Kaloli Point. The moon has risen, so anyone with a view of the ocean around the Kaloli Point area might be able to see something.

There's a real whale party going on right now off Kaloli. Might have to call 911 to get them to quieten down. Seems they're making up for their late arrival this season.

So often this season we have seen no or very few whales during the day but can hear them blowing and carrying on after dark. It is like they are taunting us! ( Kehena area)
