Hawaii Democrats, again, screw up as an anti-intellectual, arrogant authoritarian with a narcissistic personality and we have missed services, higher taxes, diminished international standing (anti-TMT), increased deterioration of the public's faith in government...

I fixed your attempt at dissing conservatives to reflect the reality of the current situation (along with the past).

"…Heh Heh, mahalo HiloPuna, how did I miss this thread ? But me thinks you need to do some deeper research on the subject you are railing against under a cloaked guise here.…"
Deeper research? On what topic? And should you answer that perhaps provide some references.
Cloaked disguise? Uhhh, who do you think I am?

Have you been to the Kalapana Star Sanctuary recently? Meet any Romulans? Pick up any... Devices?

Nobody who I referred to in my post is a capital "C" Conservative. Neither one of them is anywhere close and never have been. They are both populists though. They do both seem to prefer appointing people well out of their depths ( e.g.Kamelamela and Carson, but really almost all of them) their both technologically averse (no email, really? )with the one key difference being Harry doesn't even Tweet. Thank gawd, I guess.

And yet another deflection by HiloPuna. It was expected though.

"and yet another deflection by HiloPuna..."
Your stating a pattern of "deflection" by me requires me to challenge you to specify the "deflection"(s), 'dude. List them (plural) , or ,easier yet identify even one. To be clear, where did I change the subject in order to avoid answering a specific question or to a specific issue? (a "deflection" in argument or debate)

Meaning that you deflect all criticism of Billy and Hawaii Democrats.

'dude
Cut'n paste any portion of a post where I praise "hawaii democrats" or argue for that group of politicians. I'll wait.
As far as "deflection" of criticism of Billy you seem to misunderstand argumentitve process and style. I believe I have made more substantive arguments supported by facts much more often than the generalized, solely opinion based criticism Kenoi as received on this forum.
As an example of my willingness to engage look at this recent set of posts twixt you and I. I first compared two individuals that share certain tendencies of personality. One I then deemed potentially more dangerous than the other due to the scale of his future office, the most powerful office on the planet (think about that for a while. A feckless reality TV buffoon who has never served the public in any capacity)
You then make a paraphrased response further likening the local situation with the national one but then decide to categorize my criticism of Trump as a "dissing" of Conservatives.
I then specifically respond to your assertion regarding their political philosophy and state that neither one of these gents has shown themselves to be a Conservative*.
You then state I've engaged in "deflection" rather than provide any basis for your position that I "diss" Conservatives. You could have done that by making some kind of fact based argument that (either) one of the two is a "Conservative". Instead you deflected away from this be accusing me of "deflection"
Too clever by half....
*dont confuse (or conflate) running as a Republican with being a Conservative. Taking a conservative position from time to time is not the same thing at all.

That was a typical (for you) smug and arrogant response.

Wow, 'dude, that's really almost impossible to reply too...and I mean that, seriously. The irony embedded in your response suggests a serious lack of self awareness or else reflects a childish "pick up my stuff (opinions) and go home" approach to challenges.
"…a smug and arrogant response...."
I'll just leave that to float on this thread as your metaphorical turd in PW's argumentitve punchbowl.
