None of the people named actually live that close. Petricci was paid to relocate,Shana Ritsema lived in Lanipuna and lost her house and David Kisor is, well you read his comments to the legislature :

Have to admit that Kisor's comments, the first in the testimony list, were pretty repulsive.

But I especially liked Mayor Kim's testimony in the above link. He has an office of economic development, but why bother when he can't see beyond the NIMBY faction.

Puna's anti-science/uneducated idiots need to take a look at the SF Bay Area, and their educated hippies who ALWAYS praise...... The Geysers, just north of the Bay Area (Lake/Sonoma/Napa County line, which has 22 plants and 350 wells..
we (PGV) had 1 plant and 11 wells........... yet we have 100X more misinformed paranoid fear mongering conspiracy promoting idiots flipping out here!
