In answer to those who questioned about weight and cost...the mo'o weighs about 800 pounds. As for how much one of these would cost...I'm afraid you all won't think it's so cool when you know what I would have to charge. I think that I will sell these by the pound. I figure it's like a prime ahi. I would have to charge about $20 per pound for a piece that required as much time as this did. When I started making it I never thought about actually selling things like this. I think maybe Bill Gates or Warren Buffet might consider ordering one but it would prove out of reach for most others.

The trouble is that I had a really good time putting it together and I want to make another sculpture. I actually enjoyed the many hours of tedious tile setting. I never had to worry about rain, like I do every other day in my business, and I had no deadline or demands. I was making it for me. I have plans for another piece that I plan to donate locally and beyond that I will probably fill my 3 acres with a menagerie. Well as long as my wife can stand it at least.
