Why is everybody always picking on me?

To Tom:
I started that last post before yours went up, wrote most of it and wandered off and did other stuff, then came back without checking on new posts.

I wish Barbara the very best with her fight. In fact, that's a fear I have too, as circulation problems run in my family. The best to both of you.

The first encounter we had, I was in pain and you yelled at me. It wasn't funny to me, and you didn't know me or even say Hi before lecturing me. It sure did make a bad thing worse. Sometimes your humor works, and sometimes it comes off as mean. Something to maybe think about, or not.

Hope your Barbara is home soon.
I also know what it's like to have family in a hospital in Honolulu. My grandson has literally spent months of his life there with us not having the money or ability to all be there for him.

Our best thoughts, wishes, and prayers for Barbara.

BTW, I like Tom's chicken, wish he still came north of Hilo.

Tom,

Jeannie and I want to wish Barbara only the best and a quick recovery. I have never met your Barb but I can only imagine what you are going through. I'll never forget when Jeannie had to go for spinal surgery. I only had to endure her two different 12 hour surgeries alone so I can't imagine being so far away from each other.

Which hospital is she in? How long do you think she is going to be in there? Is it ok if we send her a card?

Hey Lack,
Language history researchers speculate that the first communication between two human beings was probably one cave man pointing his finger at another strange humanoid and...Laughing......

Tom - as someone who's spent much of the last year not being as physically close to a loved one as I would wish while they are sick and fighting for life, I can only say I really feel for you, I know what it's like. But as you told me a year ago and I will never forget your words, I feel it in my bones, everything will turn out alright in the end!

Pam will be on the Big Island with me in a month or so. I hope we'll be able to meet both you and Barbara then! In the meantime our thoughts will be with both you and Barb. And I couldn't agree more, laughter is the best medicine.

As my Pops would sign his emails "Best of Good and Happy Thoughts" for Barb and you, both.

and to Hawaiiandebroah, I think you'll find eventually that PunaWeb is a lot like a big extended family - fight like siblings, bicker, neighbors being niele, Uncle [Big Grin]Tom[Big Grin] with a beer, and the lampshade on, Uncle Rob trying to stay above the fray because his family is embarrassing sometimes, cousins C&K giving the doctors hell with their vast knowledge, Cousin D keeping everyone else posted on family news, but when the chips are down, like when Pops got sick, I have gotten some of the greatest support from some PunaWebbers (you know who you are!) Some were people I had never met in person until then, and who they were surprised me to no end.

Yahoo,

Mission partly accomplished and I truly hope it to be so. Sometimes there is a method to my madness but I’ll let you all judge for yourself.

Mauka has shown his true colors as I well suspected, but he is the kind that will just change his anonymous handle and try and sneak in the back door Check it out especially John, Dave, and Mark you guys are the best and you sure pegged him right.
