I grew up around the Paskowitz kids, a couple were at my wedding. A really neat family. My pop never got along well with the "Doc", my old man like to hang around Dale Velzy and drink whiskey. The wife and I were talking of moving back into a rental we own on T St in San Clemente for the summer. Just surfing and partying all summer long.

You don't happen to know Bill Roberts from San Clemente do you? He grew up there(drinking whiskey). He moved back into the area about 5 or 6 years ago, has his own transfer and hauls rock.

I dont know Bill. I grew up in and around San Clemente and La Jolla. I actually worked at the nuclear plants for a few years. We would surf Trestles and Old Mans at lunch, plus we could drive to some of the Marines breaks no one else had access too. Boy, I miss that job.

I made a half-assed attempt to get on the power plant back then. Everyone said you could make crazy money and screw off or sleep most of your hours.
In hindsight, it's probably better that I didn't get hired.

Circus Flora in honor of Flora the African Elephant who was rescued from Europe -- She came to town every Christmas to star in her Big Tent One Ring Circus run by the Walendas (yes...those Walendas).

They wanted a local nail tech to paint her toenails red...I got the honor and painted her nails with red tempra paint on the news. We hammed it up - told everyone how she was my most faithful nail diva...she loved the attention, Flora.
