Approx. 4pm, Pam Lamont passed away, Memorial Services are TBA... Will try to keep posted
Please make sure that you let us know about her pending services. We had seen her maybe a couple of months ago at Home Depot. I'm VERY RARELY on PW any more. You have our number.
Prayers to Josh and Bob.
Seriously, this will be the 3rd death this year. I want 2013 to be over with. Our best friend's nephew perished in Afghanistan and my mother passed away last month.

Gene and I met Pam and Gumbo in early July 05. She was living in the cabin and she and Gumno were in the fruit tree field with the new piglets when we met. We all walked in the mud and loved the tour of the Ranch to be! This was pre road work fiascos.
I was able to attend her first PunaWeb Party and meet many of you there. What a trooper was how I saw Pam a pioneer with all the true spirit of one. She trusted me to sit her ranch one year for three weeks, while she and Bob went to Thailand. What an adventure they had and what an adventure I had!
Now when I think of Pam it will be as a young and beautiful warrior princess (as surely she was) stalking the universe running thru the milky way....no encumbrance.... just adventure and discovery ahead for her. Aloha Pam

No words come, but immense sadness.
oh Mella what beautiful imagery. I like that idea of her as the warrior princess in the milky way.

A very sad day to say farewell to a wonderful person. I pray many will "pass it forward".

Pam and I share the same name and have had fun with it over the years. I first met her at the muddiest party I have ever attended at her new, just built house; Bob gave me the 75 cent tour. She was one of the most inspirational, can-do individuals I have ever met. Her adventures in building and crazy situations (like the time she lost a truck(?) in the mud!) helped me keep my sanity during the 40 day rain. I'd be so bummed and read her adventures of the day and laugh so hard my face hurt! Her laugh and oh-so-quick wit is what I will surely miss. My heart and thoughts are with you Bob and Josh. Ralph and I send our deepest condolences. Aloha nui loa my friend.

I am so sad, and have a huge lump in my throat. I had been saving egg cartons for Pam as I loved getting her yummy eggs. I hadn't been by to get eggs for quite some time, and kept it on my need to get over there soon list. She was a larger than life character and one we could all aspire to emulate. She was aloha at it's most basic and purest form. I hope she's at peace now...xxxxoooooo

Goodbye, Pam. There has never been anyone more generous and helpful, both to friends and strangers, than this amazing woman. Farmer, rancher, builder, teacher, shoulder to cry on, refuge in time of trouble . . . Pam was all these things and more. Bear and I were fortunate enough to spend a special afternoon with her in her prime and to see her at some of the old Punaweb parties. Deepest sympathy to Bob and Josh. I have not posted on Punaweb in a long time, but I had to come back to say farewell to one of the most beautiful people to ever live in Puna or anywhere.
