The GoFundMe Safety and security site has some very good information that EVERYONE should read and understand PRIOR to donating to any cause. Link:

They also have information on the Dept of Justice reporting for reporting ANY knowledge of "person or an organization soliciting relief funds on behalf of storm victims or have knowledge of waste, abuse, or allegations of mismanagement involving disaster relief operations" (below)
I have already used this to report GoFundMe campaigns for Iselle and the lava flow. I could not believe that until my call on the lava flow, the DoJ personnel did not have that as one of their 'disasters', the clerk had to do an internet search, as no one in the office seemed to know there was the lava potential in Pahoa, and this was over 2 weeks ago, when there was FAST lava!

You can also fax information to: (225) 334-4707 or e-mail it to: disaster@leo.gov "
Also have notified photographers when their image is used on campaigns, as this is also fraudulent behavior.
If Shoreresident is smart, they will remove their plagiarized photo immediately, as that is also a violation of their agreement with GoFundMe!
