One man's stab at explaining Hawaiian History.

far more "laid-backers", many if not most with marginal job skills/motivations

"Come for the climate, stay for the generous State-funded benefits package."

Funny how those of us who pay taxes to provide these benefits have absolutely no say in who is eligible to receive them. I might as well just quit my job and go sign up for welfare and EBT.

"It's not what you say, it is how you say it. That is what I learned, in respecting the rights of others,..."

Which translates as - style is everything, content is nothing.

Really, there's some B&W thinking. Sounds like window dressing to me. So one could conceivably say the most arrogant nonsensical things as long as it's done with a charming smile and a curtsy. Very convenient. I think both kinda matter. On topics of substance, obviously content is a necessity, no?

It is a disgrace and stain on America that so much of what is gained by the hard labor, economic risk and endeavor of hard-working Americans such as yourself, is guzzled down by the dregs of our society who do nothing but generate waste by the consumption of other people's hard-earned wealth, taken by force and given to them.

The corruption and so on that we see here in Hawaii pale to insignificance in the face of large scale corporate moochers that ordinary people pick up the tab for- trillions of dollars worth.
Just a little perspective is in order.

Another evidence-less, specious attack on our fine corporations. Got any examples of corporation taking money from ordinary people, and please, refrain from the rube that take exemptions that result in a corporation paying less in taxes, is the same as taking money from the people, any more than me paying you less for a product that you would like to get (in a fair transaction) is taking money from you. You got my money, just less of it.

I would hope that you are aware that America's corporate tax rates are the highest in the developed world, and it is much to the detriment of America. And then, when after-tax profits are divvied-up among the various owners (stockholders), lo-and-behold, it is taxed once again, i.e. double taxation.

I await your bill of particulars.

Thank you Grassroots Institute (Hawaii) and Heritage Foundation (Washington DC).
Same applies to you.
Corporate tax structures (US) are the LOWEST in the developed world.
Don't like double taxation? Invest in a REIT or an MLP (e.g.)
Have a nice day corporate shill.
