Whether he works or not after that is irrelevant. There is nothing to complain about.

Allow me to disagree. About complaining, by comparing it with double dipping:

Who benefits?
The recipient of double dipping.
The complainer.

Who does not benefit?
The taxpayers funding a double dip system.
People who listen to complainers.

Is it legal?

Double dipping: Yes
Complaining: Yes

Some person with a lot of time on their hands should compile a list of all the "legal" double dippers. Especially the notable ones.

He fulfilled his obligation for federal retirement. Whether he works or not after that is irrelevant. There is nothing to complain about.

an then they get hired...an then the system never changes...same people different positions, NO chance for evolution or change

Stop this practice! Get new people with new ideas/approches and let the chips fall where they may

You'll all be happy to know that the County Council performed its due diligence on the Mayor's cabinet picks today. For example, the new Information Technologies Director's main attributes, according to the comments by almost every Council Member, is that she's young and is a sky diver. "If you have the nerve to jump out of a plane, I think you'll be a good fit for this job" seemed to be the general consensus.

Any Punawebbers like to scuba dive? You might want to get your applications in to the mayor right now, because as soon as they need "someone to look deep into various aspects of a developing situation," they'll know you're qualified.

CHA CHING!!!!

Harry bring back old chum Andy Levin to handle "legislative priorities." To the tune of $16,000 per month!

It's good to know the king. Andy is a nice guy. Respectable guy who did some good things during his House tenure.

By the time he got to Harry Kim 1.0's administration however, he was a shadow of his former self. Word on the street was he didn't do much.

And now....he's back! It's good to know the King.
