Yes.
Thank god in 2020 we’ll soon be able to take advantage of Trump-Go Despatch Service. Your precious orders will travel the last leg of the journey from Pahoa Post Office, not to your door, but 250 yards in any direction, depending on where you live, in a stretch limo, with 8 support vehicles.* Then Melania pops out and hands you your package, dressed in-appropriately all white Territorial/Colonial Plantation Casual Wear for a small fee of $95,000.**

Some USPS people are great, but way too much "tude" overall in the service.

"That is patently untrue and not the case at all."

I wasn't suggesting that the temporary workers delivered the mail. When I worked for the USPS the temporary workers performed other functions that freed career appointees who normally weren't full time drivers to hit the road on city routes.

Also, most of the mail was delivered by "rural route" drivers who weren't USPS employees anyway and were not paid by the hour. They drove their own vehicles.

Of course, each USPS office is operated differently.

If you really want to experience "tude" you should be on the other side of the retail counter. You will experience legions of some of the most self-important, self-entitled complete with a dash of unrealistic expectations people imaginable. All of that, while you maintain a positive helpful attitude. Can be difficult.

+1 orchid .. i've seen it first hand so many times. I'm amazed at the level of anger harbored by people for simply having to wait in line. Then blowing up at the genteel worker even when they themselves are totally at fault or not following the wY operations work.

"for a small fee of $95,000"

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/final...00-million

I guess we're getting a bargain compared to Obama's family?

"— The March 2014 trip to Key Largo during Spring Break – where the first family stayed at the exclusive Ocean Reef Club – cost the Secret Service $247,827.50; $182,120.33 for hotels and $65,707.17 in travel expenses. The total cost of that trip with previously released $885,683 in flight costs from the Air Force is $1,133,510.50. "

Doesn't the current president stay at his own hotel at no tax payer expense? And does not accept a salary?

I'm not throwing my support behind anybody, just pointing out that I don't recall anybody talking about the previous President's travel expenses.

As I type on my iPad here in Puna, I can’t help thinking Steve Jobs might have said, “One more thing....”
