So what was your point again? You failed to make one.
That rate is a lot higher than in US.  And of course, they're a much healthier country.

Man, you're a real dick!   Maybe you should get an attitude adjustment.  In any case, I'm done with you...

At least I can carry a coherent argument. I'm tired of all of the children hiding underneath the bed waiting for their next proclamation from on high. Can we move on from this absolutely ridiculous BS yet?

I like how people who support further restrictions always move the goalposts though. First it was Hawaii, and now it's the US. LOL.

There was a study where they asked people to put an anti-drunk driving sign in their yard. Most people they could convince to put a small sign out, but not a large one. Then of course after they got them to put up a small sign for some time, most of them accepted a much larger sign too.

Nice trick, at some point it just becomes a pack of lies though.

You should take it out of the box, before you insult long-time respected members of the Punaweb community.

So Lt Green actually has a plan to sunset this stuff. The question is, will he stick to the plan?

I apologize, but it's extremely frightening when there is no clear plan, set of metrics, or even any sort of specific goal to a policy. Even more frightening when people support this kind of perpetual ambiguity. It starts to seem a bit too close to 1984.

What Green actually said on Friday was:

"I think, at least, through the end of this holiday season," Lt. Gov. Josh Green told Hawaii's KHON2 on Friday about how long the program will be in place. "The reason for that is that there's a higher COVID rate on the mainland, and we're still adjusting to the prospect of bringing international travel here. So, we wouldn't want to kind of make too many large changes all at once."

Well, that makes a lot more sense than most of this thread.

At which point they'll justify a new vague timeline. Remember, Green has no real authority here.

Remember, Safe Travels is about collecting traveler demographics -- COVID is just an excuse.

What are they going to use travel demographics for and how do you know this?
Certainty will be the death of us.

The demographics will demonstrate that delusional dimwits are too devoted to the diatribes of dippy demigods.  Duh....

What are they going to use travel demographics for

USDA & Hawaii Visitors bureau have extensively collected visitor info for decades, on the 2 sided entry form you fill out on the plane prior to arrival in the state.  The COVID / vaccination / testing information is not much more, and is probably less useful than everything else they already get / take.
