Too dainty to grab some hose and siphon huh?  Now that is swallowing crude and disgusting.

That method doesn't work for most newer cars, hence the drilled tank method.

Yeah, ruining someone's gas tank for an unknown, essentially inconsequential, amount of gas.  Crude thievery at it's worst.  I don't see how much gas could be obtained this way since the collection pan would need to be fairly short to fit under a gas tank.   Maybe more of a concern for the lifted truck crowd.
