I would assume you have a 1.5Mbps/128K
DSL connection. Which you should be getting
1200kbps approximately. What DSL modem do
you have ? If you'd like you can e-mail me privately and I can try to help you.

I get 54Mbps here in San Antonio on AT&T/SBC/Yahoo.
Is there going to be anywhere that this kind of rate is possible on the east side?

Thanks Aaron for your posting!

54Mbps...are you sure ? I've seen SBC/AT&T's
residential offerings and the max I've seen is 6Mbps.

As for whats available here, max residential service through Road Runner (Cable Modem)
is 5Mbps/384K and HawTel DSL is 3Mbps/768K

Aaron perhaps it is time to request some type of credit to your bill each month for substandard services! Is there a public utilities commission on the BI. You shouldn't be charged for what is advertised by a utility, if they can't deliver what is advertised. Just a consideration.

For me personally I would not go that avenue
of seeking a credit. I've been on line for
10 years, thus I've gone through worse situations than this when I had Road Runner.

In that situation, all I got from Oceanic Time Warner was lip service http://fixrr.com/oldfix.asp.My contacts
within Hawaiian Tel have been very helpful
So for me I'd not want to go that route.
