Well it is interesting that in one day on one thread a person uses 10 of their 5 a day post allotment. So I guess the really special ones among us well they get 5 a day posts times 2, or 3 or 4? It wouldn't be so bad if there was something of interest being shared. Really pitiful.
mella l NO really! I don't, want to read your blog! Edited to keep on task and do no harm, I mean hijacking. Thanks to the operating committee whom ever they are and when ever they were set up, I guess I lost it in the floatsom somewhere deep.

Mella, The posting rule is 5 per day average. It takes a lot of work to break that limit.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Hijack alert!
If you keep repeating that the world's about to end, then one day you'll be right. End of hijack.

I don't spend my time wondering, but I'm used to forums where the moderator names are displayed. Their screen names. I'm a mod myself, on another forum where they have elected mods who serve for a term. Everyone knows I'm a mod, and they can contact me for help if needed. The whole "shadowy committee" idea is strange to me, but as long as it doesn't get too weird, I can handle it. I don't think it's an ideal solution though, just me being candid.

It's not a big deal. The "Operatus commitiosis" as it is reffered to in Greece, is (probably) a response to accusations of dictatership by a very few disgruntled posters.
It's a tool designed to take some of the pressure off Rob. There are only two guidlines here: Keep it Puna, and Play Nice. Most people don't have a problem with that. Even the people that are critical of this site still utilize it and conform to it's parameters. Since the group's inception, I think two or three issues have been discussed. One was the decision to move the political section up for the election year. One was the decision to lock down a thread. Usually, Punaweb is pretty much self moderating; People stick to the two guidlines. It's an easy job that doesn't take much time. I'm flattered to have been asked to participate. Yes Hope, I'm one. This is the most subjective "rule" because there are many threads that are not "puna" based....
