In this video they show case that garage/house that was previously posted.

I've seen some garage/house where the garage was finished first and the house never finished for sale in HPP. Looked pretty nice. Only draw back is, you won't get your garage on P/P. Plus side is, you can always expand or finish the house later.


My personal take on this is, If you just want a small place, you can easily draw up plans, like I did, I planned on going solar but I'm still on temp power. My home is perfect for two people to live comfortably. I could have put in the power as soon as one the walls was constructed. I probably should have just went on permanent power instead of temp. Solar is Expensive if you are going to do it right (off grid). Unless you got an extra 12-15 grand laying around. My footprint is 20x20, I made my house about 4.5' off the ground. I should have gone at least 6-7'. I could jack it up another 3' later.

Still, I can store a lot of stuff under it and doing plumbing or electric was a breeze.
