Trace amounts of Radiation found in Hilo Milk

As for the Global Research site, just go to their home page and see what other nonsense they're pushing to get a flavor of how reliable their information is. Secret weapons in Fukushima. Nuclear weapons in Libya. The usual 9/11 drivel.

Yes, caesium-137 has a half-life of 30 years and it can be ingested. Strange they don't mention that it has a biological half-life of 70 days (ie after 70 days your body has expelled half of it). All of this is taken into account when the EPA specified the safety limits, which we're way, way below.

Why are some people so keen to be so scared about so little?

I had friends in high school - Mom and Dad worked at white sands new mexico. They also claimed radiation at low levels would never hurt you - they died in their late 50's of nasty ailments related to exposure.

I think the issue here is that all of the exposure to these elements
produced by testing and plant failures exposes every one around the world to man made forms of radiation isotopes that have only been around for 50 years or so, studied by tracking those exposed for much less.

The folks in St George Utah are learning the hard way if one looks at the cancer statistics in the area. Either way it is hard to do controlled studies of what this stuff really does to us over time because we do not have a long term history, and there is no way to "opt out" once it gets into the environment.

Current news and warning of green tea.

Is there a site to track what the weather brings to the west coast in radiation levels? I appreciate taking a look at that.

Thanks
