Hmm I partly agree with that.
- US legal system is ridiculous
- large amount of disdain for Monsanto
Last I remember though you were certain that the cases would all be appealed and reversed. Here's one of your quotes, & there were many others like it: Monsanto hasn't lost anything, yet.
All food is organic, except if you eat rocks.
Viva the appeal process!
Seems like the cases are just adding up and all being unfavorable for your hero Monsanto/ Bayer. Now you're going with the legal system being ridiculous.
Then there are those like bananahead that credit Monsanto with the lengthening of human lives:
HUMANS live to be over 80 yrs old today.. the yr before Monsanto became a company, the average life expectancy was 31 yrs old.. so weve gained 50+ yrs of LIFE within the Era Monsanto
Hmm there couldn't possibly be any other factors to longer living huh?
It's going to be a tough battle verses people with mindsets like this and the big rich chemical companies to expose some of the truths about products they sell like Roundup but it appears to be heading in the right direction. Finally.

Some statements by two of the impartial jurors in the most recent verdict:
"We really wanted to tell Monsanto, 'Cut it out, do better,' and we wanted to get their attention," juror Doug Olsen told Bloomberg of the award.
(Cut it out, do better - - could be said of almost every product currently manufactured)
...an anonymous juror told the company's lawyer what they could do to assure jurors of Roundup's safety.
"I wanted you to get up and drink it," the juror said.
(Not use the product according to label directions?)

Bayer will appeal because the EPA said glyphosphate is safe.

Gasolene, bleach, rat poison, etc., are safe to use as long as the instructions are followed. I wouldn't drink any of them though. Same goes for a whole bunch of other things anyone can buy every day.

Straight hot sauce would probably kill you and it is a recognized food.

You can come up with so much stuff that will kill you if not used correctly, but a civil lawsuit only uses the theory that the preponderance of the evidence wins the case. That means if there's 51% of evidence supporting either side, they win - and that is often decided by a jury who may have no training in anything remotely resembling what they need to know. And that jury is chosen by the lawyers and to some extent, the judge.
What really pisses me off is when people use the above to then say something has been proved to cause something else.

It makes me happy this morning to see the number of people who have not taken the "evil" and "boogeyman" approaches to glyphosate. I am sure it has some effects which have not been fully ascertained yet., but to single it out among all other herbicides is not reasonable. Judicious use of any pesticide is the goal in my opinion.. The use of pesticides has evolved to be so much better for the environment and health since the 60's that I am quite comfortable now with the situation.

The ads by personal injury attorneys seeking victims to file suit against glyphosate manufacturers are running daily now.
The giant awards will eventually drive these companies out of business. Or roundup will be $500 a gallon.

Only in the US, you'll still be able to get your full recommended daily allowance of Roundup simply by buying imported produce.
