This morning I noticed that Hapa's eyelashes are very different from those of his mother or the other sheep. Where they have short upper lashes and nothing on the lower lid, he has long thick lashes on top and long wispy lashes on the bottom. Makes his eyes look especially large.

He is browsing the lower branches of some of my trees and choosing trees that the other sheep leave alone, like ironwood and magnolia. He is also much more hefty than his all-lamb half brother who is a week older - larger, thicker in the neck and body. Hybrid vigor, I guess.
