BILL 25 Zendo's last hurrah!
#41
Yes kalakoa actually we want a minimum lot size and a buffer zone. So places like Belly Acres that are located right next to a subdivision won't qualify.

"Wouldn't want a noisy lettuce growing operation next to you, would you?"

It is not the lettuce but the 5,000 plus customers and the language of concerts and barn dances that we object to.

This might be great news. The bus already comes down into my ag-zoned subdivision, right in front of my 8400 square foot lot. I can start selling my chicken eggs! I'm going to start dreaming up names for my new business. Let's face it, I bought in an ag-zoned area. If I didn't want to live here, I wouldn't have bought. But to buy 20 years ago, then complain that the times are changing, is unfortunate. Sounds like you decided to get away from it all, but everyone followed. Time to find a more remote spot, perhaps. Or join your neighbor and create a really great business with him or her. Create, generate, help the economy. Be like that father and daughter who sell salad dressing along the road in Volcano. I love them.

My home wouldn't support 5000 people and I don't have a barn.

Are you guys acting out of envy again? Why not try and come up with your own solutions for our lack of Government services and stagnant economy?... Your habit of tearing down what others try to accomplish is wearing thin and not getting you much support.

coastal, why not apply for a special use permit? You could canvass your neighbors and in 3 weeks maybe 4 you could be selling your eggs at your little egg stand. This is already in the law.

snorkle, so you have solutions like writing laws that are so flimsy and vague in their crafting just to get what a few people want. There are so many things to be considered in bill 25 like traffic and noise issues, road use issues, liability concerns, all of which are not addressed in the bill.

Oh my God!!! The neighbors are having a barn dance! And we're not invited! They're not zoned for fun. Fun requires a Special Use Permit issued at the discretion of the Planning Director. How dare they have unapproved fun in an agricultural zone.

Quick, where is that stack of complaint forms??

"Actually this bill will take revenues away from real genuine farmers. "

You are reading into things that aren't there. This type of behavior seems to be SOP for you, why is that?

Barn dance, would that be Ado Annie chasing a bunch of hay seed boys while the band plays "I can't say no" once a year after harvest? Sounds like fun.

In the world of Fantasy.

Or would a barn dance be every Friday and Saturday night in a circus tent with gangsta rap and a house shaking bass till dawn. Cars blocking your driveway and an hour of trash pickup in front of your house in the morning.
Sounds like fun too, yeah?

The been there reality.

Oh and don't forget the fist fights on the street side show.

You already have some of both going on all over the district.
