you got creds brah?
The volcano will destroy everything after I'm dead; possible comorbidity if the volcano directly causes my death.
Arguments about who has credentials will persist long after Hawaii Island sinks into the ocean; see the complete published study in the journal Who Gives A Crap, but be sure to source the UK edition, the US edition spells its words funny.
Stipulation not applicable where people have better things to do with their time.

My new website “ThingsIPredicted.com” has gone live. For $399.00 (limited time introductory offer) you may upload 100 predictions with as much or as little information as you care to include.
The website will exist for all time, we’re currently negotiating with Elon Musk for underground backup servers on Mars. Your page is continuously monitored by AI for events related to your forecasts and updated should any prove inaccurate, either by deleting the entry or adjusting your projection once the event takes place. Your option, but either way your page will always appear 100% correct, and viewers will recognize you as the perceptive visionary you know yourself to be.

hokuili - you got creds brah?
Oh, shoots, I got way ahead of myself. I don't have papers for reading, thinking, or talking about any of this! Everyone should sanitize their minds of everything read here to prevent its unauthorized spread into the unsuspecting masses (twitter says bleach applied internally works well)

Yet somehow you keep ending up here... as do I...

I'll buy in with "this prediction is false" - please let me know when the servers have made it true.

Will the circle be unbroken?

Kinda changing topic, can someone enlighten us on what's up with all the EQ's Pahala to Loihi. I think that's Mauna Loa-Kilauea boundary. There has been continuous swarm of earthquakes for a long long time, looks like Halemumau used to on the EQ map. What does it all mean?

Hope the next eruption is at the far end of the SW rift of Kilauea. 1823 repeat, as previously stated. Nothing there, not a single structure downhill from that area.
Be a good eruption to watch too. All sorts of viewing areas, ocean included.

I did read the article - they are all deep so activity on the Kilauea SW rift would seem unlikely - especially without a refilling of the caldera, which (hopefully) will take some sweet time.
It would appear there is - I suspect you could not call it a swarm yet - but increased activity up Mauna Loa in an area generally identified as one of the magma chambers. I do not recall (any my memory may not be what it once was) as much "hot spot" activity down Pahala way , at least in quite a while.
The activity on Mauna Loa has been ongoing for years on and off, given that the depths are all, apparently, shallow, one would suspect those chambers are pretty full.
I see the Kilauea caldera activity , assuming that's still adjustment after the late caldera collapse.
So when do the professionals take notice?

Mahalo for the link. Explains a lot.
Quakes in this area have been tied to deep magma movements related to the resupply paths for Kilauea and possibly Mauna Loa. HVO did a Volcano Watch article on this recently.
