Black Sand Beach is too small to be nude

It's too small to be a nude beach. I took some friends by there that were visiting. It wasn't right. There were young children playing within direct eye shot of nude beach goers. I guess it the right of parents to expose (no pun intended) their kids to it or not, but I wouldn't. On Maui Little beach is nude but you have to climb over a rough hill to get to it accessable from Big Beach which is not nude.
There is something for everyone and it's not in your face.
Black Sand is the only nice swimming beach in the area. Why do the authorities turn a blind eye to this? I don't get it.

Well, I'd say it's obviously not for you or your "family" so stay away from it and don't gripe about the way things are. You're what gives us haoles a bad rap...

I have to agree. If its not right for you the dont go there. Too many people move over here and as soon as they are unpacked their container try to make changes so everything is to their liking. This beach is and always has been clothing optional. It is a fairly hard climb up and down so it keeps a lot of people from enjoying it. The area at the bottom of the trail is usually for the less adventuresome. The State probably could put some portapoddies at the road by the parking area but access to the beach area would be nearly impossible. I ask kimo wires who started this thread how big do you think it should be before it can be a nude beach? And it isnt a nude beach its clothing optional. If you are uncomfortable wear cloths and enjoy the view dont stare at the people...

Don't you guys have anything better to do. I didn't think that this thread would go this far. I may not get in the last word but certain people in this forum should learn to not take everything they read so literally. And personally. I never intended to attack or offend anyone. Just trying to start a Healthy (for lack of a better word) debate. My goofing around was at worst, in bad taste. Sorry about that. Just fishing for jokes. Later,KW

Lostboytoy from what I've seen you have a heavy hand here in unpleasantness, attacking, baiting and offending.

It's time to let it go.

And am not here to try to change puna or puna web but to embrace it.

Rob, I have to apologize to everyone on the forum also. I admit to starting the hostility because I just came from there and had a wonderful day. I'd hate to see this place of beauty fall prey to those who would force their beliefs on others that are not able to accept the way things are here. Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore - deal with it!
