This one comes from a t.v. show called Two and ahalf men. It had me laughing so hard I almost fell out of my chair and the delivery was perfect. Charlie Sheen spoke this diddy:
"Don't write checks with your mouth that your ass can't cash." (hope that doesn't offend
)
What a wonderful world it would be if contractors and others in the building profession would adopt that as their mantra.
I KNOOOOW Pam Lamont and others who have been down the build-it-ourself road can relate!

I think you all are so good that you should act out some favorite parts with that new guy *sorry, can't remember name, but posted it on here) who is coming to the BI who said he has a traveling stage and wants some performers for theatre.
Think about it, what fun!
Maybe you could all do improv!
I love the theatre here that does it, downtown!

...Please pause for a commercial break (rant)....
Just a suggestion (to a post above me) - lets keep some aloha when talking about contractors/builders... they are dealing with the same problems from different sides. I live with a builder, and the stories i could write about "owners"... you dont want to know. Builders are people too and run into the same problems we all do - supply shortages, labor shortages, unpleasable owners, rising fuel (and more) costs, lots of I WANT IT RIGHT NOW (do you remember you are now on an island in the middle of the pacific???)
Sorry for the rant, now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
