Had to move to higher ground. Spent the night in our car. We got let back in about 10. Not much sleep last night, but compared to what they had to deal with in Japan, I'm VERY thankful.

Exactly EF. If the worst thing that happened was a little sleep deprivation we were all incredibly lucky!

I know this thread will fade away soon but I have to say this is exactly what Punaweb is about. The help and concern for friend or foe all the same. You all showed your true radiant colors brilliantly. and I for one thank you!

You can send in testimony and the council will read it. That's a reasonable way for you to get a message through... doesn't cost money or take much time. Obviously Pete Hoffman is interested in sirens. I'll bet ya Fred Blas is too. Or you could try to call Mayor Kenoi and see how far that gets.

I can personally attest to that there were lights and sirens and bullhorns on kaloli point and all of coastal HPP from about 11 to the 2am deadline. I was horse the next morning from talking on the bullhorn
There ya go Debora,
Did ja have your radio too loud ?? Need louder sirens ? Do yourself and everyone else you perceive as effected a favor / service and follow up YOURSELF if you cannot hear them. Simple as that. No excuse if you don't yeah ?
