In my opinion, the only chance the TMT had was if Governor Ige, from the get go, made it clear that any blocking of roads would meet zero tolerance. He caved. He then passed the mess on to Mayor kim. The protesters recognized the weakness and are unrelenting. Many protesters are getting more and more obnoxious as they smell a win. It is not looking good for the TMT. Hawaii apparently is not a locality run by the rule of law, and court judgements don't seem to matter.We needed a tough no BS leadership, and we instead have a milk toast.

It's alarming that they would openly proclaim their superiority here. Like only Hawaiians (or other people of color here) have abandoned vehicles, drug problems, practice superstition, or are against the perceived American dream..... What a burden they must be to the white man here.

For clarification snorkle, I use “protectors” not because I am a racist disparaging a particular group of people. I use it to denote a self designated title affected by some, but which seems a little high falutin to me.
