Just for you, Pam! The best opportunity for you to see the ISS from your location this month is the evening of 18th April.

Rises at 20:32:42 in the NW, highest point is 70 degrees above the SW horizon at 20:35:57, sets 20:37:52 in the SE. It's a very bright pass, but you will have to contend with a bright moon.

A reminder that there is a good opportunity to see the ISS this coming Thursday evening (21st April) from Puna. It will be bright assuming clear skies.

Rises at 19:43:39 in the NW, highest point is at 19:46:52 in the SW (elevation of ~70 degrees above the horizon), enters Earth's shadow at 19:48:13 in the SSE. Predicted brightest magnitude is -3.2 which is very bright.

PS. Exact times are for Kaloli Pt. The times will be slightly different depending on your observing location in Puna, but only by a few seconds.

Thanks Tom. Seen from Kaloli Point, where would you be looking, towards Mauna Kea?
