The random sulphur vents opening up and steaming people alive in acid... The rain 90 days nonstop 10 inches a day... The man eating boar... The Kamehameha night haole murders... Mainlanders shackled and forced to work poke boats... Brain parasites... We're all dead and we don't even know it yet. Especially if the rift zone widens and half the island slides into the sea... Next year...

"We may have different religions, different languages, different colored skin, but we all belong to one human race." Kofi Annan

He's right.
But Some people will never even be human.
They're worse than animals.
They smoke mind altering chemicals.
They hate for no logical reason.
Will steal your car.
Break into your house when they see you leave.
Or try and false crack you if you do something or gesture in a way that they don't like.
But don't worry those types are easy to spot.
They won't make eye contact and look disheveled. They never smile.
They watch your every move, eyes all over you in public .
Yet if you look back at them it makes them very uncomfortable.
Tweakers...

Then there's the BAD drivers combined with dangerous intersections.
Drunks, Texters,Stoners, Vapers. Mother's attempting to tend to babies while driving.
Foreigners driving on the wrong side of the road.
Non-Hawaiian/No Aloha Locals that are KING OF THE ROAD and the traffic laws don't apply to them.
An den...
Hitch-Hi-jackers, Cop car rammers, Tourist kidnappers. Surf/Road Ragers.

Let's see...Did I leave out anything?
Nah just kidding. Welcome to Puna!

One Thing I can always be sure of is that things will never go as expected.
