Does this really belong on the front page?

Roe v Wade is an unconstitutiona userpation power of the courts.

People who claim a law upheld by the courts is unconstitutional, don't understand the definition of the word unconstitutional.

If you were a student in a 10th grade social studies class in Pahoa High School, you'd get an "F" on your assignment.

Would you mind proofreading your posts before hitting the Submit button? Getting awfully tired of wading through your mistakes.

I dunno guys, maybe we ought to turn this issue over to Sugarloaf to decide for the country rather than let the unconstitutional Supreme Court boss us around. We can start a petition or maybe a militia. Or maybe we already have a TeaParty Patriots of Puna militia running around back there in the jungle somewhere.

The Warren Court took it upon itself to grant itself the power to create binding precedent. Previous to that it did not have such power. This has been the topic of much disucssion by that brilliant Constitutional Scholar Mark Levine.

Perhaps you have not heard the phrase "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" Abortion violates wholesale, the first, and hence the 2nd and 3rd for the abortee.

Is that difficult to understand?

The Court held that under the right of Privacy, a person had to right to kill someone inside them. Now, Now I ask you, which is the higher order right, Life or Privacy.

Your Constitution has been stolen from you by the Court, which sole purpose was to try cases, not establish law. Establishing Law was the purview of the Legislative and Executive combined. However, the Supreme Court deems itself to be above the other branches - to be the Law unto itself.

Who stands for the rights of those about to be slaughtered, ISIS-style under a perversion of the right of Privacy by a renegade court? Answer, the guy in the truck near the school in Hilo, HI who some of you wish to slaghter as an adult.

Or, perhaps, you could go back to letting the Congress, the members of which stand for re-election every 2 or 6 years, boss you around. At least you have power (via the ballot box) over them, which you have none over the un-elected, serving-for-life Courts.

Direct vote for all the Judicial branch? Nah, If anything, the Judicial branch needs to become less partisan. Last thing we need are politicians competing and pandering to the media circus on the campaign trail to become the next popularly elected Supreme Court Justice.

I don't think restructuring the framework of the federal government to accomodate the tantrums of the frustrared Tea Party Republican fringe is going to be happening any time soon.

But you are free to babble-on, Sugarloaf.

Ah, I see, you're the rare Unconsitutional Scholar gracing us with your presence on Punaweb.

BTW, you're right, I did notice my Constitution went missing last week, in the Malama Market parking lot. I don't think it was by The Court though, at least I never saw nine people standing around my car at any given time. I had the parchment rolled up with a nice red, white, and blue ribbon tied around it on the passenger seat, but left the window rolled down. It's been so hot, and I thought it would keep the bottom of my legs from broiling when I returned. I expected I'd only be in the store a few minutes, I mean, how long should it take to get a couple of bags of ice, but then, of course, I picked the wrong check out line... again.

The Pahoa P.D. said they have some leads though, so I'm gonna let them handle it.

Come to think of it, I did see a guy who looked an awful lot like the Puna version of Antonin Scalia skulking around Jungle Love when I was about to leave.

Nobody is proposing restructuring. I am saying it has already been restructured, against the expressed will of the Founders, to give the Courts Uber Alles power over all Americans by Judicial fiat. The Founders never intended that.

These people never stand for election, or re-election, and are appointed for life. Do you not understand how dangerous it is to give absolute or near-absolute power to such a set of circumstances. Their job is to try cases, not to make new law. There was no law passed by Congress on this subject matter, it is clearly a States-Rights issue, not a Federal issue. In fact, the only Federal issue is the Civil Rights of the pre-born not to be slaughtered.

You guys are very good at making snide, infantile remarks, but putting out or understanding anything substantial, well its a lost cause. No wonder Puna is such a mess.

Feel free to slaughter your offspring in-utero. Come to think of it, it seems to have certain advantages.
