Who is Where is everyone aware?
#1
I hadn't seen Carey posting about the upcoming tsunami and got worried. So tracked her down in Kona with Jim. So they are ok.

Has anyone heard from Devaney, how about Royall? Please call anyone you haven't seen post and post here if you would when you know so we can all breathe about this knowing that people are safe and aware.

Thank you see you in a week or so!

Royall lives on 15th St, if I'm not mistaken. More than a mile from the tsunami zone, so don't worry.

I spoke to Devany earlier. They plan to stay put and get pictures. They are quite high where they are.

Who is where for the tsunami warnings?

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (Ewa, Oahu) is in the tsunami zone quite near the shore (been there).

Go figure.

Assume the best and ask questions.

Down here in Waa Waa the warning sirens cannot be heard.
I'm at 400' plus elevation and not leaving, keeping an eye out for looters.

I actually lived Ewa Beach Road within walking distance to the PTWC. Don't know the validity of it, but neighbors always told us that something about the reefs beyond Ewa offered a protection, hence the location of the PTWC. This was pre-internet days, so I never researched it.
