Last night about dark, I finally broke down and trucked water out to the coffee field. Then I put the water tank into the truck in preparation for an early morning water run.
For the first time in the 6 years that I have been Wintering in Puna, My heart lept with glee that it was raining. WoooHooo!

Almost enough already LOL. Over 4inches just today. Catchment tanks rejoice.

I am probably the only one that isnt smiling about the rain...lol
For the last 3 months or so, because of the lack of rain, spearfishing has been GREAT...
Clean water, no buss up conditions, no dirty water, etc...
Gone out every other day, been a divers paradise...
NOW, water is dirty, swells back, back to "normal" weather patterns...[
