Last night about dark, I finally broke down and trucked water out to the coffee field. Then I put the water tank into the truck in preparation for an early morning water run.
For the first time in the 6 years that I have been Wintering in Puna, My heart lept with glee that it was raining. WoooHooo! Dan

Almost enough already LOL. Over 4inches just today. Catchment tanks rejoice.

Yesterday our catchment tank floweth over for the first time since December. Wooo Hoooo!

I am probably the only one that isnt smiling about the rain...lol
For the last 3 months or so, because of the lack of rain, spearfishing has been GREAT... Clean water, no buss up conditions, no dirty water, etc... Gone out every other day, been a divers paradise... NOW, water is dirty, swells back, back to "normal" weather patterns...[  ]Oh well, fun while it lasted... |
