Cease and desist order for SPACE article in todays paper ? Anyone catch it ? Started to read something @ Subway / lunch then had to run out just as I caught the headline.

At the end of the article, it is stated "The center will hold a meeting on the issue at 12:30 p.m. today at the center." Was anyone on this forum aware of this meeting and did anyone attend it? If indeed there was a meeting to which people outside of the SPACE board were invited, why was it not mentioned on this thread? Why was it only mentioned in the newspaper of the same day? Perhaps it was just a board meeting? Whatever the case, one of the number of people from the organization who have posted on this thread should have already disclosed the time and nature of the meeting.

Graham, I note that you chose to ignore my questions about the history leading up to getting your permit. You are monitoring this topic. Why not share some information?

Probably,for the same reason there was no meeting for immediate neighbors first..
And with the government officials guaranteed support ...

The ball is now in SPACE's court. Since the County has ordered them to cease operations until they get the proper permits, they now have choices to make. Either come into compliance and resume the use that they were permitted for, or request a new SUP expanding to what they have been doing and would like to do, or perhaps consider regrouping for a new location plus, probably, new SUP.

and the neighbors of the SPACE get coupons for Prozac ,Cognac

or"free trial" shrink sessions of of their choice.
