in hind sight, being a newbie and all, it would have been in keeping with the rules to have a subject line "one politician in our country has the guts/gall to have the desire to represent his constituents... view link to find out more" power to more not just the few...can i come out of the corner now?

Gramps, sure but I don't allow national or world politics on Punaweb unless a direct correlation is made to Hawaii or Puna.

Example: President lands on Oahu for Pac 10 meeting - Okay
President flies to Germany for G10 meeting - not okay

Rob Tucker, correlation...Hawaii politics of "power to a few (long established)in office who set agenda and force that agenda through, most times in direct conflict with the needs of the people of Hawaii" is alive and well here in Paradise. that fella in Illinois verbalized his frustration with this practice, not some rant as you put it. nuff said
