I assume by "WE" you mean your group. I sure don't trust him after his resignation that cost the taxpayers a cool mil![Sad!][Sad!][Sad!]

Yes, I guess it would be best to attend only if you trust Neil to be the best candidate for Governor. Why would you want to attend if you did not support him?

Just curious - how much did Mufi Hannemenn's special election cost after he resigned to run for Govenor?[?][8][:0]

Mahalo for the info. I heard him speak in Puna and he was outstanding on all issues discussed. Got a standing ovation from the audience.

Will def be at the event.

Did I miss anything?! I was not aware of any special election to replace him as a Mayor, but, regardless, I don't support him either.[:p][:p][:p]

His ad about Abercrombie is "dirty" politics - lacks integrity!

Well, according to that article, the city council will discuss when to hold a special election for mayor and it will either be during the September 18th primary, or the November 2nd general election, so it sure won't cost the taxpayers $1M like the resignation of his opponent. Regardless, as I already indicated, I don't support him either.

Not for either one myself, but at least Neil, by resigning, wasn't continuing to accept his taxpayer paid salary while pretending that he had not decided to run, like Mufi did. I trust Mufi even less than any of the other candidates.

All of them lack integrity! Lip service is all it is.
