Gosh I wish people would not do this kind of stuff. Last week it was a tiger cub in a suitcase somewhere (foggy memory). What next, alligators?

Wow, I got to snakes in a bra and knew I would never be a good smuggler. What a hoot. Okay, sad, but it made me laugh. What yahoos people can be, without any encouragement from others. Peggy

I'm assuming you would personally be willing to go and apprehend this person detain them and then administer the jail sentence?

oh wait you are removed from the violence because other people do it for you.. i guess thats why you can say things like this without thinking about it.

I think what you said is also very serious.

@bullwinkle This is just a drop in the terrible bucket of modern slave trade. however Dynecorp and haliburton are MUCH larger operations.. i think this article fails to mention that.

808blogger - Huh????? Very very strange response to my comment. Why is it my place to apprehend and incarcerate? That's the job of the State and the county. I do think this kind of thing is extremely serious. Remember the serviceman who brought a snake into Oahu? What if that snake hadn't been caught? What if it were a pregnant female? What happens if rabies comes with an animal smuggler. I do think that heavy penalties in this case would serve as a deterrent.
Did you maybe misunderstand me somehow? Am I misunderstanding you? OR are you just a little addled?
