Anyone else catch some of the meteor shower this morning? I happened to be awake and saw two through the window -- one big, slow and low to the ground and one fast from way up high. Had forgotten they happen this time in November. The viewing weather was perfect just before dawn.

Yep...I went out in my backyard at 4:30 for about a half hour. Saw a few streaks in the sky. It was interesting...but it really didn't "wow me".

What direction should I look? I am always up before dawn.

Carol,
I was looking northwest towards Mauna Loa vicinity. When we saw them years back in Maui, they were mostly in the western sky, though saw them in other areas as well. It must have been a cool time to be up on Mauna Kea at the 'scopes! Here's a link to EarthSky's meteor shower page:
