Has anyone else notice bill sb-1342?This bill states any violation of laws that is charged as a pety misdemader can lead to forieture.If passed this mean if you stay in park after hours,get caught drinking a beer in the park ,get charged with disordely conduct or have less 1 ounce of marijuana they can come take all of your property including your house. This bill has all ready passed 2 committees in the senate .D.A.Mitch Roth call this bill stupid.What is this world coming too?

As pointed out there (and repeated here, because it seems important), building code violations are charged as petty misdemeanors, and the notion of "violation" includes judgements about "health and safety" issues, which are made at the sole discretion of various government officials.
