Some are presumptuous, and some are pretentious;
Some are crude, some are rude, and some are just plain contentious.
Some bring agendas and holy pronouncements-- BUT
Enough are caring and cautious and inoffensive,
They make us think, reflect, and even pensive.
All of us doing the best we can to live our lives in Puna
(and elsewhere) with true spirit and connectedness to the Earth.
Here's wishing that all who write and read here will experience
the release and renewal inherent in the Solstice,
and come to the New Year with resolve, strength, and forbearance.
