Looking for Black Pepper Vine
#1
Hi all,

I'd like to try and grow the black pepper vine (the one that produces both green and black peppercorns) and I wonder if anyone has tried that here or if you know where I can find a start. I've heard they are easily propagated by stem cuttings.

Thanks!

We found some at Plant it Hawaii, but I don't think they typically sell to the public. Try Paradise Plants, I bet if you ask them they'll track one down for you. That's in Hilo, just off the highway. You can see it kind of across the street from Walmart/Ross.

You probably did not received my e-mail I sent a few days ago. If you haven't had the start yet, you are welcome to have mine. It was from air-layered cutting I did a year ago.

Hi Val,

Thanks so much for letting me know. No I didn't get your email.
Thanks so much for sharing your plant! Perhaps you may like something I have. I will try and email you via Punaweb.

Thanks too, for your advice YurtGirl!
