Upholsterers/ cushion cleaners

Anyone know an upholsterer or a fabric cleaning service in the Hilo/puna area? I have a 20 year old rataan sofa and loveseat and the cushions need to be either cleaned or reupholstered.

I have a friend in Leilani that did a couch and chair for us. The couch is 50 years old and looks like new now. I'll check with her and see if she is interested and get back to you. I have another friend in Wawa as well but can't vouch for her work personally.

She has done a great job for us - even revamped my curtains to coordinate with left over pieces.

Speed isnt her thing, but if you have time as I do - more time than money - she is awesome.

Anyone use Thompson Upholsters on Kiluea down town?

My neighbor has used Thompson for several projects. I really don't have anything to compare to, or know prices, etc...just know they did the work. Looks fine and seems to be holding up.

Thanks Loretta. At least I know they do good work! Seems like most of the upholsters are on the Kona side of the island. There are only two listed on the Hilo side.
