Does anyone know why a grey house on the right side of Highway 11 coming into Hilo has about 8 large white crosses covering the entire property? It has peaked our curiosity to the max. ANYBODY?

How long have they been there? Would it be on Streetview?

It's in the backyard of the property that faces the highway...and they've been there about a month or two

Each cross seems to have a paper or sign near the top that must say something although it cannot be read from the road. Seems more of an eyesore than anything else to me.

Speculation - could be a "trestle" foundation - or the owners have suffered a horrendous tragedy in their life and are expressing grief. [^]

Not everybody with a strong "belief" in something is a fanatic - except "Yankee" fans, of course! []

there used to be trees there, they were cut down and the crosses were put. seems it was around easter
