Is It Time for a Punaweb Party??

Great party! Thanks to Pam and Bob, our gracious hosts, and all the attendees who brought fantastic dishes for the potluck.

It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. Let's keep this up.

We didn't get a whole lot of trading done but I sure made out! You guys left me a bunch of cool stuff.

Thank You to everyone who came. The best part of hosting a Punaweb Party is that Punawebbers bring great stuff, leave enough leftovers to cover several days of cooking AND you guys did a super job cleaning up. It didn't take us 30 minutes to get it all put away and be on with a quiet evening to ourselves in front of our fireplace.

I hope you all had as good a time as me. It was fun showing off the garden and the greenhouse. We are only at the beginning of production but I am taking some stuff to the Volcano farmers market in the morning just to get my feet wet.

Mahalo everyone!

I want to be the kind of woman that, when my feet
hit the floor each morning, the devil says

"Oh Crap, She's up!"

Dave and Sophie: Just so glad you could make it at all. I would come swim naked in your pool but then .. well, you know... all the local plants would wilt, the birds would fall from the sky and the pigs would charge the fence! Seriously, I don't see you guys often enough and was so very pleased you came.

To everyone else, again, MAHALO for participating with us. Punaweb, thanks to Rob Tucker, has become a backbone of what I believe is a very significant part of the Puna population - namely transplants from the mainland. People who might have suffered disasters had they not been given a few pointers on Punaweb. Others might be a bit lonely, finding it hard to meet new people. The wonderful flow of information coupled with camaraderie has been a special blessing for us all on many levels.

Thank you all for making Bob and I feel so welcome.

Aloha.
