The 7 large sailing canoes will be in for a few more day, we saw them today at Radio Bay.... they are GORGEOUS (and the mountain was almost completely clear - looked like there were still some patches of white snow up there....!
Imiloa will have a celebration for the crews on Monday evening, so if you can not see them sailing on Sunday, then definitely try to see them at the harbor.(ETA: by the breakwater/Radio Bay access road.... even if you have a harbor/TSA pass that is the best place to see them...)

Went to a talk at Imiloa last evening, & Hokulea will be starting a WORLDWIDE tour this summer (possibly a 3 year endeavor...including peace stops around the world!), planned start date: Jun 9th from HILO BAY!

The voyage map shows that they are planning to go around the Cape of Good Hope (South Africa). That will be some test for the boats and sailors aboard! Hope they have a plan to film the journey.
