He finally moved on to the vacant lot that comes complete with a hen and her flock of half grown chicks. The bowling ball sized rocks I threw into what was his densest cover may have had something to do with his relocation decision. He is short a few tail feathers now, but the hen doesn't seem to mind.

Well, I guess the hen wasn't too impressed and chased him back into our yard, however it turns out my little black killer dogs just wanted to herd him, so they herded him into the corner for me, then stood back while I caught him, and he now is in a cage at the neighbors. He has NO tail feathers now though, so he looks like a red version of a guinea fowl.
