Posting this so that everyone knows what he looks like. What's with releasing, these crazy people, with a long rap sheet, back into society?
We need a 3 strikes and you out program, here in Hawaii. I hope, that they at least put a tracking monitor on him.

The release was more to Hawaii's laws.... in order to continue to hold Kahumoku, the witness, a young girl, would have to testify next week (and authorities wanted more time to make sure that testifying would not harm the witness... )
It was suggested to me that he was released so natural 'street justice' can take effect.

pog - whoever made that suggestion to you obviously doesn't have a law degree. There is such a thing as due process. Police AND prosecutors have to make sure their case is sufficiently strong so some attorney doesn't get him off on a technicality. There was similar outrage when a murder suspect was released a while back. Believe it or now officers of the court have to follow the law.

The guy was in the bathroom and grabbed her .... Still hoping her Dad and friends knows where he lives tonight and serve him their own brand of due process. Lawyers and court can sweep up the mess.
