Once again DLNR shows it's inability to manage our natural resources.
From West Hawaii Today:
Fish collector drops anchor on live coral, not cited

Assume the best and ask questions.

That's terrible, Rob. Thanks for posting this. I don't read WHT very often.
I hope the diver who was trying to act responsible doesn't get punished. So unfair.

It is the government that is bought and paid for by Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and the rest of Wall Steet you have to worry about.
Liberals, progressives? Meaningless.
Or as Rahm Emanuel said- "liberals and progrssives are retarded"
Sorry Rob, it applies to Hawaii too!

Where is the anchor? All I see is a rusty chain and it could be to one of the legal mooring spots.
I don't think it proves anything except the diver was in an area she shouldn't have been in.

DOCARE, as I think Obie will attest to, has always been extremely responsive to the calls made by parties here.
Did they just get a new head of DLNR?

"Did they just get a new head of DLNR?"
They did indeed; one who holds a fish-collecting license himself.
Things that make you go hmmm...
