If anyone feels they will be in jeopardy with the severe storm alert and flash flood watch feel free to contact us and come up to high ground if needed. We have fenced pens for animals and a big old floor and futons for people in front of the fireplace....
Probably won't be needed, but just in case it gets out of hand.

Not much of a storm in my book. As for temp, we are low enough that we don't get the cold like Volcano. Besides we have a great fireplace that has a blower that pushes hot air into the room when the temp in the burn box gets high. Ohia and Waiwi both burn nice and hot. We are cozy!!

Pam,
Just wanted to quote something:
Whether the weather be fine,
Or whether the weather be not,
Whether the weather be cold,
Or whether the weather be hot,
We'll weather the weather
Whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not!
No matter if the storm fizzles out or not, it is so good to know that there are such nice people like you around!

Everyone is welcome. The storm iteself is never the problem here. However, flooding is a great problem for those on dirt roads, in temporary housing structures while they build and often to large animals. Just want everyone to be safe. What I teach: What you have in abundance, you share. I have lots of space that is fairly immune to flooding.

Ditto to that said by Tom and Jerry (oh, no, another old thought, must keep off that track)
