I just purchased a home over in Hawaiian Shores Rec and I have 5 or 6 HUGE hala trees in my front yard that we will need to be removed. One is already leaning towards a power line (which makes me nervous). Can anyone on here recommend a good, bonded tree removal service? I hate to just pick one off of craigslist without at least getting a recommendation first. Any info you can offer would be much appreciated.

Wyatt's tree service.
Do not have his number at hand, but he has a booth at Makuu Market weekly, where he can make appointments for jobs.
He is insured.
We've used him a few times and he and his crew are very conscientious about getting the job done safely and the way the customer wants it done.

Big Island Tree Service. They have removed several dead or dying trees for us and the neighbors...both ohia & junk trees that were heading into the dangerous category. One of the supervisors lives in Ha. Shores Rec. Est., or Beaches....I'm not sure, but they are very professional & very reasonable. 966-6997.

Thanks for the recommendations! I will probably call them them both and get quotes. I have a feeling it is going to run into some bucks.
